Local name: Fort K'ijk
The fort was built in 1903 to defend the de Lagendijk dyke between the towns of Uitgeest and Krommenie and the navigable Krommenie waterway. The partially restored interior is open to the public. You can visit here, among others kitchen rooms and casemates.
