National Park Weerribben-Wieden

The protected area of 100 km2 of canals, lakes, reeds, swamps and forests as well as the largest peat bogs in northwestern Europe. The park can be visited in a rented kayak or boat, admiring the richness of the local flora and observing colonies of water birds, including terns, cormorants and herons.
