Wildlans Adventure Zoo Emmen

Wildlans Adventure Zoo is a new zoo opened in 2016. Its area was divided into three areas corresponding to different climate and thematic zones. Two of them are hot, one cold - they are called Jungola (Jungle), Serenga (Savannah) and Nortica (North) respectively. The fourth zone, which has no equivalent in reality, is Animazia - a covered playground for children with an area of nearly 5 thousand. m2.

Visitors can explore Jungola while sailing on the Rimbula River or using wooden bridges suspended over the jungle. This zone is inhabited by alligators, pythons, elephants and many species of monkeys whose house was stylized as the ruins of an ancient temple.

In Serendze we can see animals characteristic of the open areas of Africa - lions, hippos, baboons, as well as numerous giraffes, zebras and rhinos moving freely on open runs. The main attraction of Nortiki are polar bears, next to which we will also see seals, sea lions and a large colony of Humboldt penguins.
