55-meter bell tower of the church of St. Nicholas is considered the best vantage point in the city. You can get to the top of the Romanesque-Renaissance building by a narrow stone staircase. The tower was built in 1691 according to the design of the Venetian architect Giuzeppe Beatija. In 1730 a clock imported from Venice was installed on it.
