The museum presents collections of exhibits related to the centuries-old maritime history of the city, photographic and ethnographic collections (weapons, clothing, jewelry, furniture, everyday objects). The museum is based in the 17th-century Bujović Palace, considered a masterpiece in the works of Venetian architect Giovanni Baptiste Fonte.
