Cirkewwa Ferry is a ferry dock, from where you can get from Malta to Gozo in the fastest way - the crossing takes about 30 minutes. You can cross with your hand luggage, but you can also do it with a car, motorcycle or truck. The price of the course and the choice of unit depend on the load - the so-called water taxi to the ferry.
The ferries running on the route between Malta and Gozo terminals are vessels over 85 m in length, with displacement reaching 5000 tons. This means that the largest of them are able to take 900 passengers and about 140 cars (smaller to 70 cars). Ferries depart from Gozo and Malta at intervals of 45 incl. for almost two hours virtually around the clock.
Water transport for residents of the Maltese Islands is a must - for tourists it is one of the local attractions. This is the easiest way to reach many coastal places, including the largest resorts and best beaches, e.g. from Cirkewwa Ferry you can go to Blue Lagoon.
