Ghar Dalam Cave

karst cave in the eastern part of the island being one of its biggest tourist attractions. It was hollowed out by an underground river, whose bed is still visible. The cave was discovered in 1885, and since 1933 it is open to the public. The tourist route with handrails and amenities is 80 m long. Above the entrance there is a small museum presenting finds from the cave, including skeletons of prehistoric animals and tools from the Neolithic age.
