The 17th-century bastion is part of the city's defensive walls. In the nineteenth century, it was partially dismantled by order of the tsarist authorities, but in the second half of the twentieth century its tower, interior and underground tunnel were restored and restored. Currently, it houses a museum with a collection of weapons from the 15th to the 19th century.
