Valtournenche is a famous ski resort in the Aosta Valley. Above it rises the spectacular south face of the Matterhorn, one of the most distinctive and recognizable mountains in the Alps. The resort is connected to the resort of Zermatt on the Swiss side of the border.

The main direction of tourism development in this area is ski tourism. The local slopes are open from October to April. Officially, this extensive ski complex is called Cervinia - Valtournenche and has almost 200 km of slopes of various difficulty levels. The attractive slopes of Valtournenche are situated at an altitude of between 1,500 and 3,090 meters above sea level. There are also snowboard and freeride runs and about 10 km of cross-country ski runs.

Consisting of several smaller settlements, the village offers excellent accommodation conditions and a rich overview of additional attractions, from bars, discos and clubs to a climbing center, indoor swimming pool and ice rink. In summer, you can take advantage of paragliding or off-road horse riding.
