Basilica of Mary Help of Christians

The sanctuary was inaugurated on June 9, 1868, at the behest of St. John Bosco. On June 28, 1911, the church was raised to the status of a minor basilica. Then the temple was expanded in 1934-1942 in connection with the canonization of Jan Bosko, whose remains are now in the chapel completed in 1938.
