The decorative arts museum was the first of its kind in Italy. The collections are located in 27 exhibition halls, divided into 2 sections. The first presents items from the 18th and 19th centuries, including Baccarat crystals and Meissen porcelain. The second is a reconstruction of elegant, 18th-century interiors.
