Sanctuary of Madonna delle Lacrime

The Sanctuary of the Weeping Mother of God was erected in the place of the miracle that took place in Syracuse. The work of the church in a modern style began in 1966 and ended in 1994. The sanctuary consists of a basilica and a crypt. The most important monuments include the statue of the Madonna in gilded bronze, the work of Francesco Caldarelli.
