Basilica Cateriniana San Domenico

The Roman Catholic basilica is one of the most important religious buildings in the city. The church was built in the years 1226-1265, but then enlarged in the 14th century, giving it its Gothic appearance. There are several relics of St. Catherine of Siena, whose family home is nearby.
