Basilica of Sant'Andrea delle Fratte

The history of the church dates back to the 11th century, but owes its present Baroque appearance to a thorough reconstruction in the mid-17th century. The decorative facade was only added in 1862. The interior is richly decorated with 17th-century frescoes. Particularly noteworthy is the painting on the inside of the dome depicting the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
