Montebello Castle

A gothic castle standing on a hill almost 500 m above sea level above the Marecchia valley. Since the 16th century, it has been in the hands of the Guidi family, which opened its interior to visitors at the end of the 20th century. In the stone walls of the castle, chambers from the sixteenth and seventeenth century decorations and valuable wall decorations have been preserved. This place is also famous for showing the spirit of a woman who is called Azzurina.
