Church of Saint Catherine of Alexandria

A sixteenth-century church built in the center of Palermo for the Dominican order thanks to the foundation of one of the wealthy inhabitants of the city, Benvenuta Mastrangelo. Its shape is built in the Renaissance style, with a facade decorated with symmetrical pilasters. The interior is a baroque triumph. It is covered with magnificent frescoes, among which the illusionist "Glory of Saint Catherine" placed on the vault stands out.
