The palace was built at the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries on the initiative of Baron Guglielmo Ajutamicrist. Currently, part of the palace has a museum function, presenting a rich collection of sculptures, including Domenic of Gagini and Ignazio Marabitti and carriages from the collection of Martoran Genuardi.
