Olbia is one of the most famous holiday resorts in Sardinia. It is located on the Emerald Coast, which is famous for its beautiful beaches and the incomparable color of the water.

The biggest attraction of Olbia and its surroundings are the beautiful beaches. The most famous of them are Porto Istana Beach, Cala Coticcio Beach, Rena Bianca Beach, Ira Beach and Cavaliere Beach. Most of them lie in bays surrounded by rocks. The Ira beach is well developed, with a large hotel and recreation resort next to it.

From Olbia you can go on sea excursions to the Maddalena archipelago, famous for its beauty and unspoiled nature. Boats depart from local harbors, including Port Ottiolu and Portisco.
