Local name: Santuario di San Michele Arcangelo
Sanctuary of St. Michael the Arachaniol, whose origins date back to the 6th century, and the legends about the revelation in the grotto located here, which led to the miraculous victory of the Lombards over their opponents. Since 2011, it has been on the UNESCO list, and the list of pilgrims, headed by St. Francis of Assisi and John Paul II. Around the grotto with the altar and votive offerings from different eras, a church and monastery complex was built in the Middle Ages.
