Palace of the Museums

A large museum and library complex located in the 17th century princely armory. Since the nineteenth century, it houses the most important museums of the city, as well as the archives and university library. In museums you can see architectural elements from buildings erected in Modena since Roman times, paintings and sculptures of the most famous artist from Modena from the turn of the 20th century by Giuseppe Graziosi and a collection of books on architecture and engineering collected by Luigi Poletti.
