Casa Cava

A concert and performance hall hidden in a grotto carved in volcanic tuff under the Matera buildings. It was designed and made in 2011 in caves created during the mining of stone needed to build houses in the city, which had been carried out since the Middle Ages. Equipped with multimedia and a modernly arranged room, it can accommodate 150 people.
