Cathedral Basilica

Local name: Basilica Cattedrale

A Roman Catholic cathedral built in the 13th century at the highest point in the city. It represents the Romanesque style in the variation from Apulia. The most striking aspect of its external appearance is the huge rose window above the entrance and the 52-meter high courtyard. Inside the church you can see frescoes in the Byzantine style made in the 19th century.
