Upper Castle

Part of the castle in Marostica located on the top of the hill overlooking the village. It was erected in the 14th century and a large part of the defensive walls and a residential building have been preserved to this day. A well-known restaurant has been operating in the castle since the 1980s, offering seasonal dishes made of products from local farmers.
