16th century country villa built by the Visconti family and surrounded by a beautiful Mediterranean park. The villa mimics the Tuscan Medici palace on which it was modeled. The park is home to the famous Nimfeion, a structure erected to house a large collection of Visconti garden sculptures. It consists of several artificial grottoes with mosaic floors and sculptures of nymphs and other ancient figures standing in the niches.
