Garibaldi Museum of Caprera

A museum dedicated to one of the greatest Italian heroes, Giuseppe Garibaldi. It is located on Caprera Island, in a house he bought in 1856 and lived in for the next 25 years. The original furnishings have been preserved in the interiors, as well as many personal mementoes of Garibaldi. They are complemented by multimedia presentations and information boards. The museum also includes the burial place of the general and his wife Anita.
