Botanical Garden

Established in 1545, the garden was created by Niccolò Tribolo, commissioned by Prince Cosma and Medici as a place for growing medicinal plants. Its decoration is now monumental trees that were planted in the eighteenth century. The garden layout has been preserved intact, as well as the species composition of plants, which are mostly representatives of the local flora.
