The church with one nave covered with cross vaults dates back to the 13th century. It was rebuilt in its present form in 1484, keeping the original frescoes as well as a gallery of paintings by important Cremona artists. Significant works are also a wooden crucifix from 1714 and a 17th-century wooden statue of Saint Roch.
