Cathedral of Sant'Evasio
Local name: Cattedrale di Sant'Evasio
The Romanesque-Gothic cathedral was built at the turn of the 11th-12th centuries, although the previous church was here already in the 9th century. The chapel houses an 18th-century marble sculptural group depicting the ecstasy of Mary Magdalene by Giovanni Battista Bernero. A small monogram column with the sign of Christ is the place where the patron saint of the city, Evasius, was martyred.
