The museum is dedicated to the memory of people deported to Nazi concentration camps. There are 13 rooms with symbolic graphics and special lighting. On their walls are carved sentences from "Letters condemned to death by the European Resistance Movement", which are authentic statements of people who survived the camps.
In some of the rooms there are sketches by painters such as Cagli, Guttuso, Léger and Picasso. You can also see photos, documents and memorabilia of the victims in the display cases. In the last room, the names of about 15,000 Italians deported to the camps are carved on the walls and ceiling.
In the courtyard there are 16 large stelae, i.e. concrete monoliths about 6 m high. You can read the names of 60 Nazi concentration camps on them.
