The central square of the city is named after one of the greatest Italian national heroes - the creator of the reunification of the states of the Apennine Peninsula in the 19th century. It is home to the Collegiata Prepositurale di San Paolo - a temple from the 16th century, built as a result of the extension of the former watchtower.
