The town of Bruneck, called Brunico in Italian, is known for its medieval old town. It is worth taking a stroll along the Stadtgasse street surrounded by 15th and 16th century tenement houses. German is the most widely spoken language here, Italian is spoken by only 15% of the inhabitants.
