Church of San Giovanni Evangelista

It is one of the oldest churches in the city - the oldest core of the building dates back to the 5th or even 4th century. The Gothic façade conceals an interior filled with valuable works of art - in this respect it is the most important church in Brescia. It is worth paying attention especially to the Chapel of the Blessed Sacrament with frescoes and paintings by Girolamo Romani and Moretto.
