Church of San Francesco

One of the main churches of the city of Alatri. Together with the adjacent former monastery, it was the seat of the Franciscan fraternity. The temple was built in the 13th century. It is distinguished by a raw, gothic style and a beautiful rosette decorating the facade. There is a coat on display in the church that was said to have belonged to Saint Francis of Assisi.
