Teddy Park

Local name: Teddy Park

Teddy Park, also known as Teddy Kollek Park, is a public park located opposite the Old City of Jerusalem and the David's Citadel. Established in 2013, the city park was developed by the Jerusalem Foundation in memory of the long-acting mayor of the city, Tivadar Kollek. The main attraction of the park is a fountain synchronized with music and special light shows.

During the construction of the park, ancient monuments were discovered, such as a Roman water tank, a Byzantine complex and a nineteenth-century structure, which was included in the park's design. The complex also houses a multimedia visitor center with an interactive exhibition on the history of Jerusalem's modern development.
