The 16th-century mosque is one of the best-preserved examples of Turkish architecture in Pécs. Particularly noteworthy is the slender minaret, measuring over 22 m in height. In the 1960s, the mosque was restored to its original condition. It can be visited when there are no religious ceremonies.
