Hamza Bey Mosque

Local name: Πρώην Χαμζά Μπέη Τζαμί

The mosque was built in 1468 in memory of the Ottoman commander Hamza Bey. Over the years it was transformed into a military building and then a shopping center. It is currently owned by the Ministry of Culture and an archaeological site. Inside there are decorative plasters and frescoes with floral and geometric motifs.
