Church of Panagia Chalkeon
Local name: Βυζαντινός Ναός Παναγίας των Χαλκέων
The 11th century Byzantine church in Thessaloniki. It was built on a cross plan inscribed in a square, with a central dome and two smaller ones above the vestibule. At the north wall is the alleged tombstone of the founder, Krzysztof and his family. Inside, fragments of medieval polychromes and carved column capitals have been preserved.
