Stefanos Crater

Volcanic crater on the island of Nisyros. This is the youngest Greek volcano. He is about 3000-4000 years old. You can see sulfur outflows in the 30-meter deep caldera. Sometimes, puffs of steam appear. The volcano is one of the largest geothermal volcanoes in the world. Its bottom can be walked on, but safety instructions must be observed to avoid burns.
