Tree of Hippocrates

A 12-meter platan growing in the center of Kos. According to tradition, this is the tree under which Hippocrates would sit. However, the plane tree currently growing here is about 500 years old, which does not change the fact that it is one of the largest trees of this species in Europe. He is probably a descendant of the real tree of Hippocrates.
