Established in 1970, the facility presents excavation artifacts in a chronological order: from the Neolithic era, through the Minoan period, to the Greco-Roman times. One of the most spectacular exhibits are, among others the goddess Mirtos (a woman-shaped wine vessel from the Bronze Age) and the skull of an athlete in a golden olive wreath.
