Wiesbaden Museum

Museum, which dates back to the first half of the nineteenth century. Among its initiators was Goethe, who was in Wiesbaden for therapeutic treatment in a spa. The museum has two departments, art and natural history. The art collection includes old and modern paintings, graphics and sculpture, primarily of German and Dutch artists. Natural history collections include exhibits from around the world, including a large collection of minerals and fossils.
