Goethe House and Garden

The house with a garden, which in the past was owned by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, has been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The poet purchased the property in 1776 and lived in it until 1782, and then used it as a summer home. The interiors have partly preserved original 18th-century furniture.
