The center was established to commemorate the Swabian people who emigrated to the territories of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy, to today's Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Hungary in the 18th and 19th centuries. The exhibitions show their cultural achievements, costumes, home furnishings and boats used to navigate the Danube.
