Old Botanical Garden Tübingen

The beginning of today's botanical garden was the cultivation of medicinal plants, founded in 1535 by one of the fathers of botany, Leonhart Fuchs. The first greenhouses were built during the expansion of the garden at the beginning of the 19th century. In 1970, the historic palm house was demolished and the garden was transformed into a public park.
