Großhesseloher Bridge

Old, built in the middle of the In the nineteenth century, the railway bridge witnessed many suicides: in the years 1877-1978, 290 people died by jumping into the Isar River. The current structure, opened in 1985, was devoid of pedestrian crossing and was equipped with numerous safety devices that significantly reduced the number of fatal jumps.
