St. Lutheran parish church Łukasz is the largest Protestant church in Munich. Two towers and a nearly 64-meter dome constitute the character of the church. Among the internal architecture, the highest historic value is the altar with painting decorations, pulpit and organs.
The church Łukasz in Munich was built in the years 1893 - 1896 according to the design of Albert Schmidt. Although the church of Łukasz is called the cathedral of Munich Protestants, this temple is not the seat of the bishop. The organ was built by GF Steinmeyer. The painting on the altar is the work of the artist Gustav Adolf Goldberg.
The architecture refers to earlier contacts present in Munich. From the outside, it was built in Romanesque forms, while the interior resembles the early Rhine Gothic style based on the geometric shape of the Greek cross. In the east there is a three-sided apse, the west facade is heptagonal and has towers built on a square plan.
