Hercules monument

Dating from 1717, the statue consists of an octagonal base (32.65 m), a pyramid (29.6 m) and a statue of Hercules measuring 8.25 m. A 250-meter stone cascade emerges from below the monument, to which water is supplied from underground sources. The Hercules Fountain and the surrounding park were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2013.
