Castle Blankenberg

The castle was built on the top of the hill probably in the 12th century. Fragments of the defensive walls and four towers from which a panoramic view of the area has been preserved have survived to the present times. A herb garden with 200 medicinal and kitchen herbs was established in the bastion.
