Thingstätte

The hill, 440 m above sea level, is located above Heidelberg. It has been used since ancient times. Here are the reuins of a Celtic fort and a Roman camp. Nearby you can see the ruins of the monastery from the eleventh century. The last buildings that were built on the hill are the Bismarck tower from the beginning of the 20th century and the remains of the amphitheater from 1934-1935.
