Hülshoff Castle

The water castle was built in the mid-15th century on the site of a 11th-century fortification. In 1797, Annette von Droste-Hülshoff, one of the most recognized German writers, was born here. The interiors of the castle, together with the restored chapel and garden can be visited. The castle's basement houses a restaurant.
